The Education Foundation for North Forest ISD, a public, independent, nonprofit corporation, will be governed by a board of directors representing a cross section of citizens who are dedicated to education and share a vision for excellence. Members of the committee began meeting in the spring and will continue their work in the fall and early next year. The committee has secured the Foundation’s 501(c)(3) status and plans to launch its Founding Donor Campaign in spring 2011.
